Ladies' Bible Study
The women at Westfort Baptist invite you to join them for Bible Study, refreshment and fellowship.
It can be tough being a woman these days, and if you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, if it seems as if there are too many choices and not enough answers, then we invite you to join us as we seek to hold each other up and bear one another's burdens.
We seek the living and true God who provides rest to the weary and wisdom to those who ask it of Him. He does not fail us nor forsake us.
Beth Moore's study, Believing God, originated from a concept introduced in Isaiah 43:10, Believing God examines what it means to believe God rather than only believe in Him. Participants study the lives of Abraham and others from Hebrews 11 as examples of people who believed God. This study parallels a personal journey Beth took in coming to understand what it means to believe God
We are very excited to introduce a brand new way to do Bible Study at Westfort. This study is offered by Lifeway Publishers as an online study also. You may register for the online version with Lifeway, and you will receive lifetime access to the video sessions, the homework to download and print, as well as Lifeway's online Bible Study tools.
If Saturday mornings are not working for you to attend the onsite group, then you can join our online group. And both groups will be taking part in the private Westfort Baptist online forum. The forum will be a place where we can discuss the study, share insights, and prayer requests. But we will not be giving up the special fellowship of meeting together. Every other Saturday morning we will still be meeting to watch the video sessions, discuss the homework, pray, share tasty snacks and enjoy some live worship. Let us know if you have nursery or childcare needs by calling the church or noting so on the sign-up sheet in the church foyer. The next meetings will be November 28th and December 12th.
Women's Fellowship at Westfort includes much more than the Ladies' Bible Study. We are a multi-generational community of women seeking the Lord and serving together. We serve the church, we serve families in our church, and we serve the community together.
You were never meant to do it alone. Come be a part of our community.
